Naylor, David Horsey, Vicki Robin The style was generally much too off-putting, but I was intrigued by the fascinating chapter on how the US came extremely close to a thirty-hour workweek after the Great Depression, until FDR vetoed the law (already overwhelmingly approved by Congress) in favour of a forty-hour week plus the New Deal instead.
